Chance to have a say on changes to the local plan - April 2006
People will have chance to comment on these modifications until 19 May 2006. They can only comment on the council's proposed modifications and proposals not to accept recommendations made by the inspector.

Government Inspector Report - January 2006
An independent inspector appointed by the Government has made recommendations about future development in West Dorset, including Chickerell.
For Chickerell this includes;
- Refusing the site at School Hill for housing, and instead using the site at Floods Yard.
- Refusing the Wessex Stadium redevelopment.
- Refusing the Weymouth Relief Road.
